## Practice Method for New Études

1. Sight-read once at half-tempo, identify trouble spots
2. Mark tricky passages, isolate them
3. Practice each tricky passage in short loops (4-8 notes) until fluent
4. Connect passages back into the étude
5. Bring up to tempo gradually with metronome
6. Record yourself, listen back for musicality (not just technique)

## Sight-Reading

10 minutes daily with unfamiliar material. Don't stop for mistakes — keep going.
